Benjamin Heck

Founder, CEO, Chief Engineer

Benjamin Heck graduated with his BS/MS in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Utah in 2021. He is a self-motivated, driven individual with experience in numerous medical-related projects including: 

  • a pleural venous shunt pump that could be controlled and accessed through an Android application
  • a computational model of the brain with neurons responding to temporal interference brain stimulation
  • an ECG-controlled robotic arm
  • a noninvasive ventilation elbow for oral access (Aether Elbow™)
  • a noninvasive ventilation mask for oral access (OralEase™ mask), and now
  • a single-use bronchoscope with numerous advantageous, novel features (Bronchoscopus Rex™) 


He was summa cum laude in his graduating class with a 4.00 GPA. He has served in multiple research positions. He has presented his neuroscience research in UBEC and BMES. He was a part of the Neural Engineering Research Group at the University of Utah and the Phi Eta Sigma Honors Society.


Besides his well-documented technical expertise, he has been leading the company since his graduation, becoming more experienced in business management. 


He enjoys developing new groundbreaking medical devices, learning and acquiring new skills, playing tennis, and making a difference in people's lives.
